Rock UK Carroty Wood Adventure Centre is very popular with schools, church youth groups, local authority groups and adult training organisations.

The centre is also perfect for outdoor education, being a holder of the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and offering a wide range of instructed activities (AALA licensed) such as kayaking, climbing, archery and rafting.

Set in an idyllic rural location just outside Tonbridge in Kent it’s just 20 minutes from the M25 and under an hour from the south coast. With a host of great facilities (many of which carry little or no additional charge) and comfortable accommodation, with catering or self-catering options Carroty Wood is an ideal place to come for your school residential, group weekend away and to spend some time getting in tune with nature.

The sports hall can provide seating for up to 190 people and is perfect for use as a large meeting/conference venue for large groups.  The hall can also be used for indoor games and activities during your visit.

Malcolm Maclean

Malcolm has worked for Rock UK since 1999. He is married to Lucy and they have two young sons. He enjoys playing a variety of musical instruments and leading worship at his church. Malcolm is a Trustee for Ember Trust, a local youth work charity.
