Accommodation

Flexible and versatile is how we would term our accommodation at Carroty Wood. Up to 190 people can be accommodated (132 between Oct-Apr), in 4 fully self-contained lodges.

Each lodge contains a spacious and comfortable lounge/dining area, well equipped kitchen, toilets, showers, pay phone and drying room (except Woodpecker). BBQ’s and campfire areas are also available. During the summer 2 lodges are supplemented with tents equipped with ground sheets, camping mattresses and blankets so that you can have the full outdoor experience by camping and sleeping out in the grounds.

Accommodation Lodges

Hornbeam House

Accommodates 34 people in 12 full en-suite bedrooms, mix of single and bunk beds.

Woodland Lodge

Accommodates 40 people in 11 bedrooms. Each bedroom has showers, washbasins and mix of single and bunk beds. Some toilets situated on landing.

Chestnut Loft

Accommodates 70 in summer months (May-Sep) and 34 during winter. Summer: mix of bunk/single beds for 20 indoors and tents for 50. Extra meeting rooms during summer. Winter: bunks/single beds for 34 indoors.

Woodpecker Ranch

Accommodates 45 in the summer months (May-Sep) and 24 during winter. Summer: bunks for 12 and tents for 33. Extra meeting room during summer. Winter: there are bunks for 24 indoors.

Camping….The Ultimate Outdoor Adventure!

Two separate camping areas are available: The Outback is a woodland clearing suitable for up to 30 people. The Glade Camp area is suitable for 50 people. Both camps are an exciting way to end a day of outdoor activities!

Booking

To book accommodation please contact the Rock UK Carroty Wood office. Provisional bookings can be made by telephone and held for a 2 week period. Non-returnable deposit and booking forms must be returned by the end of this period. For full booking terms please follow the link.

Welcoming The Disabled

Hornbeam House has accommodation for 4 disabled visitors in 2 ground floor en suite bedrooms, whilst Woodland Lodge has a ground floor en suite bedroom for 2 disabled people. The swimming pool has a separate disabled shower/WC. All 3 buildings have access ramps.

Catering & Food Ordering

For groups of 15 or more, a variety of options are available as an alternative to self-catering. Please contact the centre for further information on catering options.

Not Just For Young People!

We also accommodate mission and training organisations and Church family houseparties all at an affordable price! We provide video monitor, OHP, table tennis/snooker equipment and spacious meeting rooms. Instructed activities can be adapted for adult conference and training groups.
