Accommodation

Groups from 8 to 222 people can stay in 9 separate accommodation areas.

Accommodation comes with lounge/meeting areas, dining areas, toilets/showers, payphones, and fully fitted kitchens for groups wishing to self-cater in all lodges except Whittaker. All bedding is provided and there are drying rooms. The Centre also has a tuck shop which opens at set times, but these can be negotiated to suit your group’s programme.

Oak Lodge

Accommodates up to 40 in 12 bedrooms each with washbasin, 5 are fully en suite. Reception/lounge area, meeting room, dining room, fitted kitchen, toilets/showers. Is adjacent to Willow Lodge.

Willow Lodge

Accommodates up to 10 people in 3 bedrooms (one en suite). Lounge/dining room, fitted kitchen, and toilets/showers. Additional bedrooms may be added if not required by adjacent Oak Lodge.

Whittaker Lodge

This spacious stone and timber construction with large meeting halls and fireplaces has a large dining hall capable of seating 120+ people. Comprises of 4 wings, which can be booked separately or as one unit (total 116 beds). Elm wing holds maximum 36, Cedar 34, Ash 28 and Beech 18.

The Pines

4 attractive Scandinavian fully en suite log cabins accommodating up to 28 people with adjacent Log Lounge: a multi purpose building with kitchen, diner/activity room, small meeting room, toilets and a shower.

Cherry Lodge

A four bedroom accommodation unit for up to 8 people, with toilets and a shower, a galley kitchen and a spacious meeting room.

Rowan

One fully en-suite accommodation building holding 20 in 6 bedrooms – 2 with disabled facilities. Separate adjacent building with fitted kitchen, toilets suitable for disabled, and dining/meeting room capable of catering for 50 people.

Food

We offer full board or self-catering in our fully fitted kitchens. Groups may choose either. Please note Whittaker Lodge offers a fully catered only service.

Welcoming the Disabled

Oak, Willow, Rowan and Whittaker Lodge all have access ramps. Several bathrooms are equipped for disabled people. We strongly recommend leaders inspect accommodation prior to confirming a booking.

Conference, Training and Church Family Houseparties

Whittaker Lodge offers spacious meeting rooms with comfortable en-suite bedrooms. It has excellent facilities for all ages, at very affordable prices. Rowan, Oak, and Willow Lodges are also popular with all ages. Instructed activity sessions can be adapted for adult conference and training groups.
