If you are new to climbing then there is no better place to start than at Summit Centre. We offer a wide range of courses to suit your ability and needs.

Friday Night Climbing
Owing to the success of our Friday night discounts we are continuing this throughout 2013. Members can climb for £3.50 and non member for £4.50 from 6pm.
Regular Courses
Private Taster Sessions
If you have never climbed before this is a great way to start. A 60 minute taster session will introduce you to the wall and the basics of climbing. No experience or equipment necessary. Please call to arrange the most convenient time for you.

Learn to Climb
If you have the climbing bug and want to be able to climb independently, join our “Learn to Climb” sessions. Over the course of 3 weeks with three 1 1/2 hour sessions, or over an intensive weekend with 4 1/2 hours of instruction, we will teach you the skills necessary to climb at Summit Centre.
£60 per person
(minimum 3 people)
Refresher Courses
If you have climbed in the past and feel you would benefit from a quick refresh under the guidance of our highly qualified instructors why not join us for one of our 1 hour refresher courses. Please call us on 0844 8000 222 to find out when the next one is going to be!

Young People’s Climbing
Birthday Parties
Enjoy a 90 minute session based in the climbing centre. You can have a go at bouldering, climbing, archery or caving and then have the use of a function room for a further 45 minutes to enjoy a birthday meal (food can be provided for an additional cost).

If you want to push your climbing and hit the high walls then join one of our learn to lead courses.
A 3 week course to concentrate on building your confidence on the wall to be able to lead safely indoors.

Improver’s Course
Want to go that little bit higher or hit that hold that is just out of reach?
Then join our improver’s course.
A 3 week course designed to turn you from a beginner into a climber by coaching you in footwork, body position and movement all with the aim of helping you get the best from your climbing.
