Personal Development Programmes

At Rock UK Frontier Centre we have developed various Personal Development Programmes which seek to enhance secondary school childrens ability to work as a team and develop relationships through the use of physical activity. See the schemes which we run below:

Citizenship Activity Day

This programme focuses on year 7’s and developing relationships between students within their new respective form groups. The activities will focus on the importance of working as a team to achieve their goals and establish friendships as a result. These activities include, climbing, canoeing, raft building and many more.

3 Day Residential Personal Development Course

This course seeks to push the participants out of their comfort zones and into life. They will experience outdoor activities at its most challenging and will use these activities to develop their personal and social development and gain self-confidence from this. Activities include white water rafting and mountain biking. (Also available in a non-residential capacity)

5 – 10 Day Non-Residential Personal Development Course

This particular programme is aimed at children from school years 7 – 11 and seeks to enhance their social and interpersonal skills. Children that have behavioural issue and limited social skills have responded exceptionally well to this programme. The programme seeks to develop confidence, maturity, team work and self worth. (Recommended to be used as a next step from the Citizenship Activity Day and also available in residential package)

Activities School Visit

For this programme launched by Rock UK you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own school, we can bring activities to you! These include climbing tower, Archery, team games and mountain bike skills courses. These activities are used to enhance confidence and challenging activities and an environment in which you are comfortable.
