Citizen Activity Days

Introduction

Rock UK Frontier Centre has worked in partnership with many secondary schools to develop this programme for new intakes of students. Primarily for those in year seven, the programme looks at breaking down social barriers and forming new friendships with students in their respective tutor groups. The programme uses a selection of adventurous activities that place the students in an unfamiliar environment so that they will have to work together to achieve success. Our instructors use various techniques that highlight new learning.

Feedback from past schools stated:

“It brought a lot of children together who were in different crowds. Their behavior has improved; where they have taunted someone before, its not happening as much” (Walthamstow Academy, teacher)
