Rock UK Head Office Team
Hours: 30 (0.8 FTE) per week (worked over 4 or 5 days)
Salary: £26,750 pro rata per annum
Contract Term: Permanent, subject to satisfactory references, a Basic Disclosure check and a 5-month probationary period
Location: The role is based at our Head Office at Frontier Centre (Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire) with the possibility of some home working by agreement.
We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to provide professional administrative support for Rock UK as part of our Head Office team. You will be the first point of contact for potential job applicants, update and manage the HR software system, and under the direction of the HR Manager prepare all employee life-cycle correspondence and maintain employee records.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, IT and administrative skills, including accuracy and attention to detail are all essential. Previous experience of HR administration and using HR software would be an advantage but training will be provided.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Instructor to join our leadership team and play a key role in delivering high-quality outdoor activities at Summit Centre. Working closely with the Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor, you will take on significant responsibility for the day-to-day planning and delivery of the centre’s activity provision.
As a valued member of the instructor leadership team, you’ll also play an important part in upholding and communicating our Christian ethos, mission, and vision to both staff and guests.
Essential Qualifications:
You will need to hold:
- Climbing Wall Development Instructor (CWDI) or Rock Climbing Instructor (RCI)
- Paddlesport Leader or Paddle UK moderate water leadership award in either Canoe, Kayak or SUP
- Mountain Leader (ML) – Summer or Cave Leader
A valid 16-hour outdoor first aid certificate is also required.

Rock UK Adventure Centres is seeking committed Christians to join our Board of Trustees. We are a charity providing outdoor adventure experiences that help young people build confidence, resilience and faith in a supportive environment.
As a Trustee, you will help guide the charity’s direction, support good governance, oversee resources responsibly, and promote our work, helping ensure long-term impact for young people.
We welcome applicants who bring strategic thinking, good communication skills, and a passion for young people and the outdoors. Experience in finance, legal, HR, fundraising, marketing, education or youth work is helpful but not essential.
Time commitment: Four board meetings per year (two in person, two online), plus preparation time, occasional committee involvement, and an optional monthly online prayer meeting. The role is voluntary and unpaid.
